Machined in one continious pass from one end to the other to prevent irregularities. Then they are ploished, heat treated to exact specifiations, then polished again tho ensure no suface imperfections exist which could cause a stress point or crack.

Are true to within .001" and are most consistant, with a smoother transition from effective length to bearing shoulder
